By accessing or using the Marquis Stays website (www.marquisstays.com) and booking any vacation rental property through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Marquis Stays. A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation email and full payment or deposit has been processed. Modification requests must be submitted in writing to info@marquisstays.com and are subject to availability and any applicable rate adjustments.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. Marquis Stays reserves the right to adjust pricing for future bookings without notice.
Our cancellation policy is structured as follows:
In the event of a force majeure (natural disaster, government-mandated travel restriction, or similar extraordinary circumstance), Marquis Stays will work with guests to reschedule or provide credit toward a future stay on a case-by-case basis.
Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM local time (Costa Rica, CST). Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Specific check-in instructions, including access codes or key pickup details, will be provided prior to your arrival.
Guests are expected to treat all rental properties with care and respect. You agree to comply with all house rules provided for your specific property, maintain the property in a reasonable condition throughout your stay, and report any damage or maintenance issues promptly to our team. The registered guest is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party.
Certain properties may require a refundable security deposit. Any damage to the property, furnishings, or amenities beyond normal wear and tear will be assessed and deducted from the security deposit. If the cost of damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest will be responsible for the remaining balance. Marquis Stays will provide documentation of any damage claims.
Marquis Stays acts as a property management and booking platform. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and quality of our properties, we are not liable for personal injury, loss of personal belongings, or any incidental damages arising from your stay. Guests use all property amenities, including but not limited to pools, outdoor areas, and recreational equipment, at their own risk.
All content on the Marquis Stays website, including text, images, logos, design elements, and photography, is the property of Marquis Stays or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Reproduction or use without written permission is prohibited.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica.
